Women's Wear Trends for 2026–27: What We're Designing For

Every season our designers compile a trend deck before a single sketch is drawn. Here is the condensed version — the movements shaping what Deziyre is designing for the coming year.

1. Co-ord sets go three-piece

The two-piece co-ord is now a wardrobe staple; the growth is in three-piece sets — a shirt, a trouser and a matching sleeveless layer or waistcoat. It photographs beautifully, sells as an outfit and lets your customer wear each piece separately.

2. Chanderi and muslin over heavy silks

Lightweight, breathable, luxurious-looking fabrics are winning festive wear. Chanderi kurtas with fine zari borders and muslin anarkalis with delicate chikankari feel premium without the weight or the price of pure silk.

3. The colour story: sage, ivory, forest, terracotta

Earthy greens and warm neutrals dominate — sage and ivory for daywear, deep forest green and terracotta for evenings. Pair them with brushed gold accents in buttons and embroidery.

4. Balloon and bishop sleeves on everyday tops

Volume moved from the skirt to the sleeve. Expect smocked cuffs, gathered shoulders and dramatic bishop sleeves on cotton poplin and georgette tops.

5. Wide-leg, high-rise trousers

Pleated, wide-leg trousers in linen and cotton twill are the new palazzo. Fit consistency is everything here — which is why we grade every pattern and fit-test on real bodies.

6. Modern-traditional fusion

Kurta-style shirts with western trousers, sharara sets with crop tops, and dupattas reimagined as scarves. Our ethnic-wear designers are seeing strong demand for pieces that work at both a festive lunch and a workday.

Fewer, better pieces. Each collection is built around one colour story and a handful of fabrics, sampled and refined in the studio before it launches.
